How many sweets were made altogether in two hours?
Ans:
Sweets made in first hour = 6640
Sweets made in second hour = 2985
Total sweets = 6640 + 2985 = 9625
5. A factory manufactures 4856 shirts and 3759 pants in a day. How many
items does the factory manufacture altogether?
Ans:
Total shirts = 4856
total pants = 3759
Total items = 4856 + 3759 = 8615

how much money Umair has?
Ans:
Total amount = 3976 Rs.
Adnan have = 1595 Rs.
Umair have = 3976 _ 1595 = 2381 Rs.
iii. A factory manufactures 7000 football in a year. Out of them, it sells 1999
footballs. How many footballs are yet to be sold?
Ans:
Total football = 7000
Sold = 1999
Remaining = 7000 _ 1999 = 5001
iv. Nasir had 5210 books in his shop. Out of them, he sold 2831 books in a
month. How much books are left in the shop?
Ans:
Total books = 5210
Sold = 2831
Remaining = 5210 _ 2831 = 2379

Spiders = 20
Legs of one spider = 8
Total legs = 20 × 8 = 160
iii. 4 girls can sit on a bench. On 10 benches,how many girls can sit?
Ans:
Benches = 10
Girls sit on one bench = 4
Total girls = 10 × 4 = 40
iv. If Sana has 6 packets of colours with 6 colours in each packet. How
many colours she has in total?
Ans:
Packets = 6
Colours in one packet = 6
Total colours = 6 × 6 = 36
v. If there are 3 rooms in a house, and there are 4 bulbs in each room.
Find total number of bulbs in house.
Ans:
Bulbs in one room = 4
Total rooms = 3
Total bulbs = 4 × 3 = 12
