Dear Miller Falcons,

I am pleased to submit my resume for consideration for the available Assistant Principal
position at this campus. Given my background in education and talent for leading
students, educators, teaching teams, and campuses toward success, I feel I am in a great
position to continue to make a positive impact as this campus.

My previous positions as bilingual teacher, Dyslexia and Intervention Specialist, HB 4545

Coordinator, and Academic Dean have given me exposure to curriculum writing, growing
instructional leaders, data-driven decision-making, policy implementation, and advocacy
for students and teachers. During my first year as Academic Dean, I had the privilege of
leading a team of teachers in transformational change that grew a campus from an F
accountability rating to a B+ accountability rating as stated by the Texas Education
Agency.

Miller Intermediate is a campus that holds many distinctions and as a new member of the
administration team, my goal is to continue the pathway to academic success while
promoting accountability, ownership, and growth for students, teachers and staff.

The attached resume provides further detail about how my qualifications and background
meet the current needs of our campus. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can
continue to apply my strengths in a different capacity as we develop Falcons that are
college, career, and world ready!
