Course Title: Hindustani Classical Vocal Training

Course Overview:
This comprehensive course aims to provide a structured approach to learning
Hindustani classical vocal music. It covers the fundamental concepts,
techniques, and repertoire required for developing a strong foundation in this
art form. The course is designed for both beginners and intermediate learners,
progressing from basic concepts to more advanced topics. Through a
combination of theoretical understanding, practical exercises, and guided
practice, students will develop their vocal skills, improve their understanding of
Hindustani classical music, and gain proficiency in performing various ragas and
compositions.

Course Duration: The course is designed to be completed over a span of four


years, divided into four levels, with each level spanning one year.

Prerequisites: There are no specific prerequisites for beginners. However, a


basic understanding of Indian classical music notation (sargam) and a willingness
to practice regularly are highly recommended.

Level 1: Foundation (Year 1)
