1.What does it mean to describe a reaction as “reversible”? Can you give examples of reversible
reaction?

- To describe a reaction as "reversible" is simply when reactants and products exchange their position in
a reaction at the same time. Another thing is when a reactant is converted to a product and at the same
time a product to a reactant. An example of a reversible reaction is the reaction of hydrogen gas and
iodine vapor to form hydrogen iodide (Lumen 2021).

2. When does a reversible reaction attain a state of chemical equilibrium?

- a reversible reaction attain a state of chemical equilibrium is when the rate of forward and reverse
reaction are equal, the concentrations of reactants and products remain constant over time.

3. If the concentrations of products and reactants are equal, is the system at equilibrium?

- If the concentrations of products and reactants are equal, at equilibrium they will have the same
concentration.
