2. INSTRUCTION

PASSIVE FINGERPRINTING
Passive fingerprinting or passive reconnaissance refers to the act of obtaining
information about a target without making an active connection with the target. The
information can be obtained via publicly available information such as search engine, DNS
Servers or website that store statistics about other websites such as netcraft.

Before starting the lab, choose a domain that you would like to carry out the passive
fingerprinting process.
