AMENDMENT TO THE TAMIL NADU MANUAL WORKERS SOCIAL SECURITY AND WELFARE BOARD
AND 17 OTHER WELFARE BOARDS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU MANUAL WORKERS (REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT
AND CONDITIONS OF WORK) ACT, 1982.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment
and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with
the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security
and Welfare Scheme, 2006, namely:-
Amendment.
In the said Scheme, in clause 24, in sub-clause (1), for the expression “Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only)”, the
expression “Rs.750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only)” shall be substituted.
