 CELLULAR MOBILE OPERATORS IN
PAKISTAN
According to PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) Currently, there are four cellular
mobile operators in Pakistan i.e.,Telenor Pakistan, Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited
(PMCL/Jazz), PTML (Ufone), and China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak/Zong) are providing
services using GSM, WCDMA, and LTE, etc.

MOBILE WALLETS
Mobile wallets are now widely used all over the world. In Pakistan, just 21% (43 million) of the
population has access to the internet; nevertheless, the majority of users access the internet via
mobile phones or tablets. As a result, mobile wallets have been coming to our country since 2015
and onward.

EASYPAISA
Easypaisa mobile wallet or mobile account works in the same way as a bank account, and
anyone (Telenor, Zong, ufone, Jazz) can access it at any time from their smart phone or local
simple phone.

HOW TO CREATE (ACTIVATE) EASYPAISA ACCOUNT ?

1. Download an Easypaisa mobile app

2. Upon successful installation, launch the app
3. Enter your mobile number
4. Enter your CNIC number, date of issuance. You can also scan your CNIC card.
5. Create a 5-digit pin code for account creation
6. Non-Telenor members can also create Easypaisa account by sending their mobile number
to 0345-1113737. The procedure to send the message is EP<space>CNIC number and
send it to 0345-1113737

only available for Ufone Subscribers.An Ufone Subscriber can easy Open and Use UPaisa
Mobile account Any time from their devices.

HOW TO CREATE (ACTIVATE ) UPAISA ACCOUNT:

1. Download My Ufone App from Android or iOS

2. Log in to My Ufone App
3. Tap on bill payment
4. Tap on Create Upaisa Account
5. Agree to terms and conditions
6. Call 7777 to activate your account and you are done

JAZZCASH
JazzCash, formerly known as MobiCash, is a Pakistani mobile wallet, mobile payments, and
branchless banking services provider. It was launched in 2012 as MobiCash by Mobilink in
partnership with their subsidiary bank Mobilink Microfinance Bank. Jazz Cash has more active
users then EasyPaisa. It has more than 7 million JazzCash monthly active subscribers.
