Older and wiser voices can help you find the right path, if you are only willing to listen.
-- Jimmy Buffett

The one dream that has not been compromised all my life is where I want to be a successful and powerful
entrepreneur. The roots of this can be traced to my father, who has motivated me all my life to realize it. I
do desire to be as successful as he is; however, I want to retain my individuality and forge my own path.

I completed my schooling from D.A.V. Public School. I scored 78% and 75% respectively in class 10 and
12. I then completed my graduation in Bachelors of Commerce from Delhi University. Simultaneously I
was also doing Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) from Institute of chartered Accountants of India (I.C.A.I.)
and scored 60% in Common proficiency test (C.P.T.) of C.A.

My artistic instinct find an outlet in Painting, fashion designing, playing table tennis, singing and dancing.
I have participated in almost all the competitions related to creativity in school. I have participated in the
best decorative class competition and In Nehru Bal Samiti competition I received third prize in on spot
painting competition. I was honored to offer my paintings for exhibition and export purpose;I have
always made painting for pleasure and for my loved ones.

I also received various appreciation Certificates of Merit for participating in Dance Competition like
Vama and sangathan dance.I was often the team leader of drama cum dance routines

Brought up to be socially responsible. I have been an active participant in NGO’s like HELPAGE INDIA
and SOS. I worked for creating awareness and assisted in raising funds for care of elderly.
I have also volunteered for the Narendra Pal Vijay Kumar Charitable trust (Regd.). I played a major role
in planning and implementation of various projects like how proper utilization of free ambulance service
should be done between two cities. How water tanker service should be properly utilized for people in
morning (in big markets) and evening (in front of religious places and marriage places). Moreover in
winters, I also assisted in making an effective strategy for Distribution of blankets to needy people only
by getting a list from the local Panchayat and then distributing blankets to their respective home.

Professionally, I worked as a C.A. intern in audit team with Mahesh Goyal & Co. from October, 2007 to
September, 2010. My job responsibilities were related to statutory audit of domestic clients like vouching,
verifying, compiling of financial statements, assisting in filing of income tax and service tax return. As
this was my first step in professional world so I learned how things work in audit firms, how to interact
with different people of different levels and basically here I learnt how to put theoretical knowledge in
practical work.

From November, 2009 to February, 2010, I worked as a team leader in elections of Central Council
Member of I.C.A.I. for my father. I was managing whole back office operations of the election work. I
was involved in all the election tasks from planning to implementing of strategies and leading a team of
more then 90 members for different tasks.

An education by itself, this experience taught me how to pursue and motivate people to work at a
continuous stretch under extreme pressure, I had to learn the skills of making the environment congenial
for them, by appreciating their area of work, by giving them some extra benefits and by socializing with
them, Most importantly, putting firms goal in their mind in such a way that they see their success in the
Firms success. It was a good experience of learning to deal with people whose willingness levels were
quite low.
I also saw ground realities at polling booths where actually we had to persuade people for a particular
vote.

Currently I am working with Ernst & Young as a C.A. trainee since September, 2010 in assurance team.
All my job responsibilities are related to statutory audit of domestic and international clients like Roll
forwarding, financial statements tie out, working on documents required by SCC like 10K etc. Needless
to say, the learning curve hare is tremendous.
I have learnt how to deal with international clients, their working patterns and styles of working in
financial statements, in seminars and training sessions of E & Y and also, I learnt how to be a good
representative or effective speaker, I have realized that I am a much more professional and more career
oriented by working in this firm as this is a completely professional firm.

At this stage I have decided to fulfill my dream of pursuing MBA from UK as I want to have good
exposure at international level. Education UK is more practical based, which enhance students talent,
ability and mind in a better way and gives them a better exposure of the corporate world.
I have chosen UK because the diversity in work environment and culture will be to prepare me face to
face interaction with different kinds of people, thoughts, values and cultures on business the world over
and will give me a good opportunity to make good public relation which I believe is important if you
want to do business in future.

This course would help me sharpen my skills in the areas of market, corporate finance and strategic
planning. It will build my overall knowledge of management subjects that will allow me to exercise better
control over business as I want to be an entrepreneur in future and most probably in my field that is
finance.

My knowledge of CA will contribute a lot in this course and as I am a creative person so I will always be
a part of different competitions, clubs or any area related to creativity.

Outstanding academic performance in my school, active participation in academic as well as extra

curricular activities in creative areas and work experience have helped to develop strong quantitative and
analytical abilities and good leadership and communication skills. These have prepared me to handle
complex problems and have given me the confidence to pursue post-graduate studies from outside India.
To achieve my career goals, I need to learn much more about current developments and techniques to
help me advance in the competitive world to understand and experience the scenario better.

Experience gained during my work has given a new shape to seeing things and helps me decide on the
better path to the goal. However, sound perception, dedication, determination, leadership qualities and a
strong will power holds the key and that’s where I take pride.
