COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course of clinical psychology provides an understanding of psychopathology. The course will focus
on history as well as the contemporary clinical psychology. Students will be introduced to the different
psychological disorders. By the end of the course, students will have an in depth knowledge about the
theoretical background of psychological disorders.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Gain understanding of the field of clinical psychology
Gain understanding of what is psychopathology and how it is developed
Gain understanding of the diagnostic features of psychological disorders
Analyze and evaluate theories for various psychological disorders
Articulate current issues in clinical psychology
