Sportsage is delighted to announce 14th Edition of SPORTSAGE CUP (Red Ball) where Pune’s top mix

corporate teams will fight for the title and show their supremacy in the game of cricket. We invite your
team to participate and experience thrill at our lush green ground.

Venue: Brilliant Sports Academy, Yewalewadi, Kondhwa, Pune

Dates: From 23rd September, 2023 to 7th January, 2024 (on weekends only)

Prizes and other rewards:

• Winner: Rs. 50,000 cash and a trophy

• Runner-up: Rs. 40,000 cash and a trophy
• Man of the Series: Rs. 5000 cash and a trophy
• Trophies and Rs.2000 for Best Batsman and Best Bowler each
• Man of the Match trophy for every match

Registration fees: Rs. 40,000 per team (Will be accepted on first come first serve basis)

Last date of registration: 20th August, 2023 or date of receiving 20 teams (whichever earlier)

General Rules:

• All the players should be on payroll of any organization. Unemployed players will not be
allowed to play. Any team violating this rule will be disqualified from the tournament.
• All the players should STRICTLY carry their identity cards and must show it on demand.
• Match schedule will be communicated to the teams well in advance.
• Teams should report 30 minutes prior to the match timing; in case a team fails to report after 3
announcements opponent team will be given bye.
• Sportsage reserves the right to change the venue and dates due to any circumstances and teams
will be notified well in advance about the same.
• Team captains will be communicated required details on request.
• A player must play at least one league match before he plays in knockouts.
Game Rules

• First stage of the tournament is league.

• ICC T20 rules will be governed for this tournament.
• All the matches will be played with red balls.
• Impact player is implemented
• Team will consist 15 players (Playing 11 + 4 reserve)
• UMPIRE decision is FINAL; in case of any dispute decision will be given after discussion between
leg umpire and main umpire.
• 2 points for winning team, 0 for losing team. 1 point to each team if match gets abandoned.
• Ranking based on points then Net Run Rate then head to head result.
• Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for quarter-finals.
• Decision on situation like rain and any other circumstances will be taken by Sportsage after
discussing with both the captains.
• ON ANY DESCRIPENCY, SPORTSAGE HAS RIGHTS TO TAKE THE DECISION.
• No change in the schedule will be accepted, if any team doesn’t play as per schedule it will be
considered as bye for the opposite team.

2. Advance amount (part of registration fees) of Rs. 15000/- to be paid to confirm participation.

3. We will reply back with invoice copy with the details given in confirmation mail.
