RESOLUTION NO. 71

WHEREAS submitted was the 1st Indorsement dated April 11, 2023 of the Municipal Mayor, this
municipality, requesting authority to sign and enter into the proposed Payroll Servicing Agreement
between Siaton Municipality referred to as the “CLIENT” and the Development Bank of the Philippines
referred to as “DBP”, whereby the salaries and other benefits due to the officers and employees of the
CLIENT shall be credited to their respective accounts with DBP;

NOWTHEREFORE, on motion of Honorable William A. Kirit, duly seconded by Honorable

Emelyn M. Gadingan, the Sangguniang Bayan, Municipality of Siaton, Province of Negros Oriental

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize the Municipal Mayor, this municipality, to

enter into and sign, for and in behalf of the Siaton Municipality, this province, referred to as the
“CLIENT”, the Payroll Servicing Agreement with the Development Bank of the Philippines referred to as
“DBP”, whereby the salaries and other benefits due to the officers and employees of the CLIENT shall be
credited to their respective accounts with DBP; and to furnish copies hereof each to the parties concerned
for their information.

APPROVED this 17th day of April, 2023, Municipality of Siaton, Province of Negros Oriental.

presence of the Municipal Health Officer Siaton, Your Honor.

Presiding Officer – Okey. On item No. 2, Honorable Kirit has moved to hold this in abeyance
any further action on this pending the appearance of the Resource Person to
give explanation to the Council on the provisions of the proposed agreement.

Honorable Kirit – For item No. 3, Your Honor, I will refer this to Honorable Christine Diaz, the
one making this Ordinance, Your Honor.

Presiding Officer – Okey, item No. 3, it was endorsed to the Committee on Rules and jointly to
the Committee on Environment. Honorable Kirit is endorsing that to the
Chairman of the Committee on Environment for further study. And Sir Eric
is directed to send invitation to the resource persons, Treasurer and DBP
representative and Dr. Lim. Why don’t we just consider nato tong ka
Honorable Kirit nga ug mahimo, motion nga to be made part of the Rules nga
ug naay endorsement naa gyuy resource persons maynang automatic na ta
dayon tanan, if you want to have a motion on that.

Secretary to the SB – Your Honor, sufficient na tong imong direction nga before mokuan sa
agenda mogama na ta ug invitation.

Presiding Officer – Okey, mao na nay atong agreement as a Body.
