1. Remove the piston ring from the end plate.

2. Remove the end plate (the bolts are secured with thread-locking adhesive).

Danger of burns. Wear protective gloves.
10. Heat the gear to max. 175 degrees and fit it in place.

11. Heat the bearing to 100 degrees and fit it in place.

Note
Drive the bearing and gear against the shoulder when they have cooled down.

The piston ring and splined sleeve are to be fitted later.
