UAPSA Annual Report (S.Y 2021-2022)

Narrative Report
With our extensive planning for these events, everyone in the organization is confident that we have
achieved our collective goal. We successfully carried out a total of 6 events for the academic year
2021–2022, thanks to the cooperation of Arki students, Arki instructors, and various UAPSA
chapters.

The Basic Orientation Seminar, which also acts as a membership drive for the newly enrolled BS-
Architecture students to interact and get a sense of what the organization is about, was the first event
that the UAPSA-SSU held. This year's theme, "DAYON: Accelerating Progress with The New Ones,"
promoted ongoing organizational participation and adaptable educational opportunities. Google Meet
was used to manage the event. The purpose of the event is to provide information about the BS-
Architecture program.

Together with Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), UAPSA-SSU celebrated WAD under the
theme of "HaOne; Building a cleaner and greener society as Juan." Seniors and juniors from the SSU
and EVSU chapter actively engaged in the webinar and the Arki competitions during WAD. The
"LUNGAW: Inclining Nature to Future Community" webinar was launched in the morning with
Architect Edison Longcop as the guest speaker. The remaining activities for this event are the Arki
Competition, which comprised the Mobile Legends Tournament, Paper Folding and Cutting,
Facemask Design, Photo Manipulation, Pencil Rendering, Poster Making Contest, and Paper Folding
and Cutting.

On Teachers Day, UAPSA-SSU sent a video clip from various year levels giving a sincere message to
their teachers as a way of expressing its gratitude to the Arki teachers for their dedication and
profession in teaching and shaping our futures.

BOOlig was a joint event organized by UAPSA-SSU, UAPSA-Eastern Visayas State University
Chapter, and UAPSA-Northwest Samar State University Chapter. This event was initiated to serve as
a fundraising activity for a fellow UAPSA member, that aims to provide support to chosen
architecture students from different chapters by giving them drafting materials essential for their Arki
journey. Arki competitions and Workshops are part of the event's activities. The workshop was led by
Aristotle (“Aris”) Ventures, a visual artist and architectural drafting graduate, the registration fee for
the workshop goes to fundraising same as the registration fee for Arki competitions, the competitions
were the following: Manual Rendering 3D Rendering, Three-Emoji Challenge. Through fundraising,
we were able to effectively gather 1,560 pesos for 5 beneficiaries from various chapters.

The last event that the UAPSA-SSU conducted was the donation campaign, which aims to assist the
victims of Typhoon Agaton that slowly recovering from the devastation. With the aid of our fellow
students who are so generous and kind, UAPSA-SSU was able to collect clothing, money, and other
necessities.

Those said events, seminars, and activities were accomplished by the UAPSA-SSU chapter school for
the year 2021-2022. The organization fulfilled its goal of gearing students towards professionalism,
camaraderie, and selfless service.

Even though there were issues with judges' presence, a shortage of funding, students' inactive
involvement, and a sluggish internet connection at various points during the events, we were able to
find solutions, and the UAPSA-SSU activities were nevertheless successfully completed.
