spirituality

Answer may include: To Indigenous people land has a spiritual value and cannot be owned, traded or sold.
Totems and spiritual ancestors have an intrinsic connection to the land where they originate and have created the
land. Thus, the Aboriginal physical and spiritual world is inextricably connected to the land through the bridging
of sacred sites connected to the landscape. Different ‘nations’ (tribes) may have different and unique sacred sites
on their land due to the differing landscapes. Example may include: Uluru as a dwelling place of sacred spirits.
