installed and registered within 10% (30,000 copies/prints) of the Maintenance Kit life.

These warranties do not cover MFPs or components of Maintenance Kits which: (a) have become
damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or
electrical stress, (b) have used parts or supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies,
(c) have been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera or an Authorized Kyocera
Dealer, (d) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed, or (e) Dealer fails to register the
installation information for the MFP with Kyocera utilizing KMAconnect.

THESE WARRANTIES SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,

INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
KYOCERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH
MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE MFP.

 High-frequency noise is reduced from the LSU polygon mirror due to its smaller size.

LSU
Small diameter polygon mirror

Low Energy Consumption

 Embedded Low Energy Consumption ASIC that manages network response when in
sleep.
 Achieves 1W power consumption in sleep mode when set.

New Type Drum

The New Type Drum is an a-Si MS (Mega Surface) Photoconductor

Simplified Jam Clearance and Simplified Paper Transport

The Paper transport path consists of the paper feed section from the right side and paper exit at
the left side.

 If a paper jam occurs in the main body, it can be cleared by opening the right cover. It is
not necessary to release the Finisher to clear a jam.
 The job separator is standard with the finisher. The paper path is shorter after the fuser
section.
