About the Operating Manual

1. About the operating manual

This Operating Manual is not to be construed as a comprehensive operating manual.


It is only a supplement to the operating manual for the oven.
All directives and descriptions set forth in this operating manual apply to the operating manual for
the oven.
This applies especially to the chapters "About the Operating Manua" and "Safety Instructions".
WIESHEU GmbH assumes no liability for damage occurring as a result of not observing the
operating instructions of the control, or by baking with incorrectly set operating parameters.

This operating manual describes the function and operation of the Comfort control.
Some of the functions/options described are dependent on the respective type of oven.

This operating manual is an integral part of the product and must be kept in close proximity to the
control, and stored in such a way that it is easily accessible for operating personnel at all times.

2.2 Program steps and settings / Comfort control parameters

Within the program steps you can change the following settings / parameters:

"Pre-heating" program step (01 Vorh): Display


Edit step
• Preheating temperature (A)
A 180 °C
=> Setting from 30 - 250 °C. C

• Motor speed (C)

=> Setting from 1 - 8 (= 33 - 100 %).
• Exhaust air damper setting (D)
=> "Open/closed" setting.
=> Setting not possible with Minimat.

"Steaming" program step (02 Beschw): Display

• Temperature (A)
=> Settings from 30 - 250 °C. A 180 °C 030 sec E
• Steaming time / duration of entire steaming time (E) 0300 ml F
=> Setting from 1 - 999 seconds. G 04 n 030 sec H
• Amount of water (F)
=> Setting from 0 - 999 millilitres.
• Number of steaming operations (G)

Function of the slider:

The following options for selection using the slider are
described below:

• Turn to the left on the slider (B), or


• Press the arrow up (C). A
=> The selection bar moves left/up.
• Turn to the left on the slider, or
B
• Press the arrow up (D).
=> The selection bar moves right/down.
• Press the sensor key (A) in the middle of the slider. D
=> The change is confirmed/saved.

3.1 Switching on
The oven is connected to the electricity network. Comfort Ver.xxxxx

• Press the sensor key for approx. 5 seconds.


=> The control is switched on.
=> The system displays the "Work" menu item.

On appliances fitted with a water tank, check the fill level every time the unit
is switched on and fill up if necessary.

3.2.2 Selecting / starting a baking program Work


You are in the "Work" part of the menu. Manual Baking

• Use the slider to choose the desired baking program. Pretzel
=> Preheating starts.

=> If the pre-heating temperature is reached, an audible signal sounds.
=> The display shows the message "Temperature reached. Load oven". Info!
• Press the sensor key . Temp. reached.
=> The acoustic signal stops. Load oven!

• Open the oven door.

• Load the oven quickly.


=> Temperature loss inside the oven will be reduced.

• Use the slider to choose "Yes": No
=> The baking program is continued.

• Use the slider to choose "No":


=> The baking program will be aborted.

The Comfort control has 32 programs each with 20 baking steps.

3.2.2.1 Changing the settings / parameters during a running program


You are in the running baking program.

During the running baking program you can change the settings of the program.

• Use the slider to choose the setting you would like to change.
• Use the slider to change the setting.
=> The baking program will continue to run with the changed settings.
=> The changes will not be saved.

3.2.2.2 Baking off
At the end of the baking process an audible signal sounds.
=> The display shows the message "Baking off?". Baking off?

• Use the slider to choose "Yes":
• Set the duration of the baking off time using the slider. No

=> If the baking off time has expired, the message "Baking off" is shown
again in the display. Enter time

• Use the slider to choose "Yes": 2 min


=> You can set a new baking off time.

• Use the slider to choose "No":


=> The baking program ends.

In this menu item a time setting from 1 - 240 minutes is possible.

3.2.2.3 Cancelling a program
You are in the running baking program. Cancel

• Press the "C" sensor key. Yes
=> The display shows the message "Cancel program? Yes / No". No

• Use the slider to choose "Yes":


=> The program will be aborted.

• Use the slider to choose "No":


=> The program is continued.

The running baking program can be cancelled at any time by pressing the
"C" sensor key.

3.6.1 Editing a program Display

3.6.6 Deleting an entry Display


You are in the "Programming" part of the menu. Programming

3.6.7 Adding a program

=> All stored programs in the memory of the control are added to the display.

The display will add the programs from the memory of the control.

3.7.1 Auto-start Display

You are in the "Settings" part of the menu. Settings

In menu item "Auto-start" you have the option to start each of the Appliance ID
programmed baking programs at predefined times in pre-heating mode. User setting

• Use the slider to choose the "Auto-start" menu item.


• Use the slider to choose the desired Auto-start number. Display

To define Auto-start as accurately as possible, the following individual settings are available:

• Baking program (A) Display

=> Selection from all programmed baking programs. A Program name


• Auto-start "on / off" (B)
=> Selection of the Auto-start function "on" or "off". B off 06:25 E
• Weekday (C) C Date 17.08.2009 D
=> Selection of a weekday for the weekly recurrence of
Auto-start.
• Date (D)
=> Selection of a precisely defined date.
• Time (E)
=> Selection of the start time.

• Use the slider to choose the position to be changed. Display

• Press the "C" sensor key.
=> The display shows the message "Save changes? Yes / No". Save
