part of the plans and specifications. It is the responsibility of the General Contractor to submit the
information contained in this addendum to all subcontractors and suppliers. The Bidder shall
acknowledge receipt of the Addendum in the Bid Proposal. (Addendum number of pages: 1 page(s) + 1
attachments = 2 total page(s).

04 – 01: PROJECT MANUAL, CONTRACT, revise as follows:

A. Refer to CONTRACT, page CC-5, Section 7. Delays and Extensions of Time, A. General:
Add the following underlined items to the corresponding statement “Such unforeseen
events may include: war, government regulations, labor disputes, strikes, fires, floods,
adverse weather or elements necessitating cessation of work, inability to obtain materials,
labor, or equipment, a pandemic such as COVID-19 defined by the United States Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health which
clearly is applicable to the City and which necessitates a cessation of work, required Extra
Work, or other specific events as may be further described in the Special Provisions.”
