Superlative adjectives: the most and the least

The least is the opposite of the most. The least is used before
adjectives in the same way that the most is used. Look at the
example.

London is the most expensive
city in Europe. Paris $$$$

Typically, the least is only used before adjectives with two


or more syllables.

For adjectives with one syllable, add -est to the end of the
adjective.

One of + a superlative adjective can be used to talk about a


member of a group. Look at the example.

cities in Europe.

Note: one of + a superlative adjective is always followed by a plural noun.
