Details
In 400 kV switchyard, during isolator or circuit breaker maintenance, the technicians have to climb
up the insulators to above 7 meters. Also, they need to stand in the insulators for hours to carry out
maintenance job. They use only belt ropes to tie themselves with the insulators to prevent falling
Requirement from height. But the risk of foot slipping and ultimately fall from height is very high since there is
no working platform. In some cases, scaffolding erection is must to carry out maintenance jobs. So,
we propose to procure FRP scaffolding for erecting safe working platform. It will reduce the risk of
falling from height.
We are procuring these materials for experimental purpose. If it becomes successful, then we will
