Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors (BOD) of Baras Water

District (BWAD) held on July 10,2023

at the office of BWAD,Quezon,Baras ,Catanduanes

Absent:
NONE
The Regular meeting was called to order at 1:00pm by the
chairman of the board Dir. Jennie T. Arcilla. A prayer was led by
Dir. Lalaine P. Tejada, followed checking of attendance and
reading of previous minutes by Dir. Maria S. Triumfante.
The GM congratulates the Board of Directors and
Personnel for the Job well done being the champion on the
Team Building UCAWADA. Each of the team perform very well
and to the personnel as well. Per suggestion of Dir. Arlene Y.
Anonuevo all the district should participate in the contest. Dir.
Anonuevo move for the approval of the previous minutes and
seconded by Dir. Lalaine P. Tejada.
AGENDA:
1. Computerize Water Billing System. Schedule in Baras
July 7 and 8, 2023.
Importance and advantage of billing attended by the BWAD
staff. At, first it is very difficult for the technical group to
understand because most of them are high school level only 1
is college level .With regards to the computerized billing. They
should have a prior knowledge because if they will be mistaken
it will be wrong .Next month will be the start of computerized
billing. There should be by zoning. It will composed of 100 per
zone .It will only limited for 6 days reading through
computerized billing with the use of meter. Automatic the
system will be the one to read and automatically the receipt
will be seen for the customers. If theres any problem arises say
there is a leak It will be automatically be monitor. The technical
will be monitor there is already GPS. All the 6 districts have the
same system. All the forms should be generated in the system
in the CDA .
Purchase of Computerize Billing System.
Supplemental budget for 1 mother meter computerized billing
system. Collection in computerized billing is safe, it is void. Only
one is authorize to swipe 78,000 partial payment.
2. Contractor .The project engineer advise to give letter
and talk on the Mayor and Barangay Captain. Send
letter to the concern barangay so that when they turn
over the project they will know.
-Base on the LUWA computation -6 hours lost water
-Inform the office BWAD by the NQA construction to settle the
obligation contact the GM of BWAD.
-A letter to the Municipal Mayor and Brgy. Captain asking help
for the payment on the destruction of the contractors made in
BWAD.
3. SPES -There are two from Guinsaanan and One Western
Pob. July 3-28, 2023.
4. Preparation for the coming Baras Town Fiesta on July
28- August.11 2023.Dry period. Incase water will be scarce. This
is already comes providing help or assistance Technical should
have duty from Aug. 8-11 to rescue whatever damage in
pipelines.
Other Matters:
Computerized billing by August 2023.
