What is fair trade?


it’s a trade between companies in developed countries  and producers in developing countries in
which fair prices are paid to the producers.  The goal of fair trade is to make a significant and
positive impact in the world by selling ethically-produced goods, and improving the working and
living conditions of farmers who are fairly-compensated for their work. It is based on
democratically-organised cooperatives and helps preserving natural habitats. 
 

What Is Microfinance? 
Microfinance, also called microcredit, is a type of banking service provided to unemployed or low-
income individuals or groups who otherwise would have no other access to financial services.

What is microcredit ?
It consists in lending money to help people set up small
business ventures. It compensates for the inedaquacies of the
banking system, by loaning small sums to impoverished/poor
entrepreneurs. The interest rates are very low
