BONFIRE NIGHT has been using gunpowder
by tradition because Bonfire Night (the night of the bonfires) also known
as Guy guy-fawkes-fireworks-london-Fawkes night or Fireworks Night (the
night of the fireworks) is celebrated on November 5 throughout the United
Kingdom to commemorate the failure of the attack on November 5, 1605,
known as the gunpowder plot, in which a group of Catholics, including Guy
Fawkes, tried to destroy the Palace of Westminster (Big Ben).
How is Bonfire Night celebrated?
On Bonfire Night, fireworks shows are
organized – public and private – and bonfires
are lit in parks and gardens. This festivity is
usually accompanied by traditional food and
drinks and the street atmosphere vibrates with
the music and bustle of the celebration.
