ICOM - 80 CHANNEL COMPLIANT!

Icom Australia is proud to announce that all IC-41S and

IC-400PRO UHF CB radios are fully compatible with the
upcoming changes to Citizen’s Band legislation, as only
software changes are required to make the units compliant.

Icom can also confirm that all IC-400PRO and IC-41S units
currently in operation around Australia are upgradeable to comply
with the new regulations.

80CH UHF CB
The IC-41S and IC-400PRO, unlike many other UHF CB units
available, are fully capable of operating on the new channel
allocation, as they were, in essence, commercial radios that had
been restricted to work on the 40 channel CB network. The IC-41S
and IC-400PRO will continue to be our UHF CB products for some
time.

When an official announcement is made by the ACMA regarding UHF CB

legislation, Icom will begin to promote the 80 channel capabilities of our UHF
CB radios.
