Course Description:
This unit course introduces students to the basic concepts of physical education, physical fitness programs, and the development and maintenance
of physical fitness through varied physical activities according to the personal capabilities of the learners. The prepared program of activities is geared
towards the attainment of students’ optimum fitness as they prepare themselves in undertaking a higher level of physical education subjects.
Course Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the learners should be able to:
A. Articulately understand the essence of Physical Education in their daily lives
B. Proficiently execute aerobic or non-aerobic movements
C. Understand the principles and methods of Physical Education
D. Explain health and skill-related components of Fitness and its purpose
E. Undergo Physical Fitness program
F. Create a diet plan
