I’ve been a secretariat committee since I was a first year, honestly, I was just appointed by our

former Associate Secretary Mr. Allan Agao-Agao. From what I’ve learned and experienced under
this organization was different from handling I had when I was in high school, because the ex-
officious were very professional, facilitates academic growth and emotional development. Also, in
our committee, the General Secretary is really dedicated to her duty, hands-on and very
responsible. So, as a member of this committee I’ve been doing the responsibility as a keeper of
the attendance of the members, sometimes do meeting notes and doing an evaluation and other
documentation as the general secretary instructed. This new academic year, I want to serve as
an associate secretary, I want to fulfill the role of what I’ve learned and will also be an inspiration
to the new committee by teaching them the value of confidentiality and accountability. I want to
assist the new elected general secretary on its duties and want to explore what I am capable. By
taking charge of these administrative tasks, I want to help facilitate a smooth flow of activities,
initiatives and resources ensures that member have everything they need readily available,
promoting a more focused and enjoyed engaged learning organization. Our committee would
like to pursue the proposed project which is about implementing a review center for NMAT by
our former associate secretary. For now, we really have no connections for the instructors,
but we will try our best. Because we really want to help those students who want to take the
career of medicine and bring an honor and name to our department and college. My
experience has not only enhanced my organizational and communication skills but has also
deepened my understanding of the importance of collaboration and empathy in the
organization. As I continue to embrace the responsibilities of an associate secretary, I am
confident that I will continue to make valuable contributions to the society dynamics, new
administration development, and overall PMS experience.
