Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description
1. Operate, Monitor, Maintain and Trouble Shoot 60 MLD Common Effluent Treatment Plant
2. Ensuring Proper treatment and quality of effluent in each stage of treatment
3. Ensuring the quality of treated effluent for both discharge & tertiary treatment
4. Understanding of Various technologies in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Treatment of Industrial
effluent
5. Ensuring periodic sampling, testing and analysing results as per the laid down SOPs of the plant
6. Lead a team of Operational Staff including Shift and Maintenance Engineers for smooth operation of the
plant
7. Planning of Preventive maintenance and keeping downtime of plant to a minimum
8. Understanding of PLC/SCADA system and its upkeep
9. Inter departmental coordination with Purchase / HR / Safety/ Projects for various operational
requirements
10. Maintaining various Legal documents and ensuring its compliance from time to time
11. Maintaining SOPs for all operational aspects
12. Ensure that the laid down Safety Norms and Protocols are followed
13. Preparing Periodic Production Reports and communicating the same to Unit Head
