At the research site, researchers found problems that occurred at the research site from several
cases of fiber optic network damage indihome, Permasalahan is in the lack of thorough
knowledge about the damage to a fiber optic network in Telkom,due to the lack of knowledge
that affects the repair of fiber optic network lines and the length of network path recovery due to
existing repairs.. Sedangkaninversely proportional to the number of customers who very much
use indihome services in labuan area.

With the creation of an expert system to diagnose damage to the Web-based Indihome Fiber
Optic Network, it is expected to help solve the problem of indicating any damage to the fiber
optic network path by knowing the symptoms of damage to the fiber optic that can be accessed
easily through the Web browser.

This system is designed using structured design ranging from FOS, DFD, ERD and Data
Dictionary and This system can display all data Symptoms, Damages and Solutions, This system
is built using PHP Programming Language and supported by MySQL to design a database, with
tools including XAMPP, Sublime Text, Notepad ++ and applied using backward chaining
methods.
