DAGANG NeXCHANGE BERHAD (“DNeX” OR THE “COMPANY”)

- CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR THE NATIONAL SINGLE WINDOW (“NSW”) FOR TRADE
FACILITATION

INTRODUCTION

We refer to the announcement made by the Company on 24 July 2019 on the contract extension by the
Government of Malaysia (“Government”) to Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd (“Dagang Net”), a wholly-
owned subsidiary of DNeX, in respect of the NSW for trade facilitation.

DNeX is pleased to announce that Dagang Net had on 10 March 2021 received a letter from the
Government informing that the Government has approved-in-principle a 3-year contract extension for the
NSW for trade facilitation subject to the terms and conditions to be agreed upon between the Government
and Dagang Net.

DURATION OF CONTRACT EXTENSION

The contract extension is for a period of three (3) years commencing from 1 September 2021 until 31 August
2024.

FINANCIAL EFFECTS

The contract extension will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital and the substantial
shareholders’ shareholding of the Company as it does not involve issuance of new shares by the Company.
There is also no effect on the gearing of DNeX Group resulting from the contract extension as the contract
will be funded via internally generated fund. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract extension
is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of
DNeX Group during the contract extension period.

RISK FACTORS

The risks associated with the contract extension include but are not limited to execution risks such as
availability of skilled manpower and equipment, changes in prices of equipment, and changes in economic
and regulatory conditions. Notwithstanding this, Dagang Net has throughout the years established its track
records and expertise to undertake such contract and will closely mitigate the risks by taking the necessary
steps.

DIRECTORS’ AND/OR MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS’ INTEREST

None of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected with the Directors or major shareholders
of the Company have any interest, direct or indirect, in the contract extension.

DIRECTORS’ STATEMENT

The Board of DNeX is of the opinion that acceptance of the contract extension by Dagang Net is in the best
interest of DNeX Group.

This announcement is dated 11 March 2021.
