Last May 10, 2023, all the BSHM students gathered for the Alternative Learning
Assessment in THM 206 where one of the speakers was sir Jemmy Garcia Bedano,
during that day sir Jemmy our speaker shared his life before he became a wedding
planner. According to Mr. Jemmy, being a wedding planner is not easy because you
must go through many problems before you reach it, you will start with the more
difficult situation before you achieve what we call dreams. And not only because of
what sir Jemmy taught us, he also discussed a lot about your rights as a wedding
planner or whether you're a client, because we have laws that must be followed
which is an example given by Sir Jemmy is the contract. A contract cannot be
formed without assent of the two parties to be bound by its terms. Normally this is
by written signature, but the assent may also be oral or by conduct. Assent may
begiven by an agent for a party.
On that day Sir Jemmy also discuss the Law of a wedding planner contract is a
crucial business document as it converts a lead into a paying client. That’s why you
must master presenting your agreement in the best possible moment to secure more
weddings. To help you perfect the timing of when to introduce a wedding planner
contract, let’s breakdown a standard client intake process. And, Sir Jemmy's words
are that if we want to have a path with them, we must be wise in choosing and how
to do it as you are the only one who handles or is the boss of your own business.
Because of our Alternative Learning Assessment (ALA) and because of Sir Jemmy's,
we learned a lot from what he said even in a few minutes.
