Requirement of Documents for the Overhead Crane testing

1. General Arrangement Drawing from the Manufacturer showing all leading

dimensions and installation details with Safe working load confirmation.

2. Manufacturer Conformity Certificate for the compliance to the relevant

standard (Example: BS 466 etc.,)

3. Operating and Maintenance Instructions.

4. Document issued by the Manufacturer for the Group Classification of Lifting

unit, Traverse mechanism, Travel mechanism, hoisting speed, Traverse Speed,
Travelling speed.

5. Break Test Certificate of Wire rope(s).

6. Proof load test Certificate of Hook block assembly.

7. Manufacturer conformity certificate of the Crab assembly.

8. Track Alignment Survey report.

9. Insulation test record.

10. Earth continuity test record.
