Points to remember while giving A FEEDBACK:

Feedback is an important part of learning at Little Leap. We all are expected to be

open to give and receive constructive feedback. However, here’s a checklist you
can refer while giving feedback:
1. Constructive feedback is Specific, Effort- focused and Empathetic in
order for it to be positive and motivating.
2. Specific - “Session went monotonous or fun or highly engaging” instead of “
Session / trainer / activity was bad or good” or “Instructions could have been
simpler” instead of “Instructions were not good”
3. Effort - focused: “You worked hard in this session. Activity was well
prepared” instead of “You are smart” or “looked nice”
4. Empathetic: Before giving feedback, check with yourself how would you feel
if you were at the receiving end of the same feedback.
5. Reminder: It’s not a comparison to you or anyone, think if the points you are
saying are actually possible, important or is it just an opinion or comparison
to yourself or some other person.

To the receiver, If you are reading this gentle reminder-

1. You are doing awesome work!

2. We know you are putting your 100% efforts and never doubt that.
3. You might disagree with some points in above mentioned feedback and it’s
okay you can always discuss your feedback with your Lead or with the
buddy or trainer who gave feedback.
4. Receiving & Being open to feedback is essential however, accepting it is a
personal choice.
5. If one feedback is coming from more than one person and you don’t agree
with it it’s okay but maybe it’s time to think about if something needs
improvisation. Being open to listen and change is important.
6. No one is perfect. We are all learning and that’s what is more important than
anything.
