Induction Programme: Induction program shall include fundamentals of Mathematics, fundamentals
of Computing, Prerequisite for Engineering Graphics, Prerequisite for Engineering Mechanics,
English and Universal human values. The induction program shall be conducted at the beginning of
the first semester for 15 days.
Distribution of hours: fundamentals of Mathematics – 18, fundamentals of Computing – 15,
Prerequisite for Engineering Graphics – 15, Prerequisite for Engineering Mechanics – 15, English –
15, Universal Human Values/external Talks – 10 hours.
The assessment shall be done online on the 15th day. The duration of the assessment will be 120
minutes. 100 Question shall be given with one mark for each question. 20 from fundamentals of
Mathematics, 17 each from fundamentals of Computing, a Prerequisite for Engineering graphics, a
Prerequisite for Engineering Mechanics and English, and 12 from Universal human values. The
maximum mark that can be awarded is 100.
