Start up
Power ON
Status Indicator

1 Press the power switch on the front.

2 Select operator and Logon.

3 Preform Self-check. (About 6 minutes)

Check the status indicator becomes green.

(*)The background check can be included

Check back ground in the self-check by settings.

From the Home screen, touch [Maintenance]

１ [Maintenance Operation]key.

2 Touch [Background Check].

Back ground
WBC 0.2 × 10３/μL or less
RBC 0.02 × 106/μL or less
HGB 0.10 g/dL or less
PLT 10.0 × 103/μL or less
Press [Yes]. It
takes about 1
minute.

When the information key [ ] is turn on red or flashes, touch it to

display. Take the displayed action, and touch [ ] key .
Quality Control For quality control, lot registration is
required every 3 months, when a new
blood control lot is available, make a
Register QC lot of control new registration.

From home screen, touch [QC] and [Lot Management].

１ And press [New] key to register a new lot.

Read the barcode printed on the assay sheet in the

２ order of 1 2 3 with a handy barcode reader. The
assay value, range, expiration date and lot number
are automatically entered.

３ Touch the [Enable] check box and then touch [OK].

(*) Whether to use for quality control can be switched
later by checking the target lot on the lot management
screen and then touching [Status].

Take out the blood control from the

refrigerator and left for 10 minutes in
Run QC room temperature.
Mix with inverting 20 times or more.

Input QC lot number into the sample ID column. If the sample ID
2 is same as registered QC lot, the parameter set is automatically
set to "QC".
3 Touch the parameter set key on the measurement screen and
select the measurement method.
Measure the control. If the all results is within the
4 reference value for all registered concentrations, the quality
control status will be green. (PASS state)

５ Out-of-range results are displayed as

red dots on the QC graph screen.

6 Press [ ] key and enter the period to print the QC report.

Measurement
Prepare for measurement
1 Touch the [ ] bottom.

2 Select the parameter set.

3 Input the sample ID number.

(Read barcode by handy barcode reader. )

4 Mix with inversion the sample tube 20 times or more.

*Until the sample nozzle rises automatically,

Open mode keep sample tube at the position.

Remove the lid of the sample tube

and insert the sample nozzle at the
position of right figure.

2 Press the measurement switch.

Pre dilution mode (*) CBC mode only

1 Press [ ] key. The sample

nozzle will raise and ready to dispense
the diluent.
When "Dispense diluent" is
2 displayed, press “Yes” to dispense
the diluent into the assist tube.

Dispense the blood into the assist tube with a

3 dropper. Cover the lid of assist tube and mix.

4 Remove the lid of the assist tube and insert the

sample nozzle as shown in the right figure.

5 Press the measurement switch.

 Check measurement results

CBC result is shown within about 1 minute.

CBC+ESR result is shown within 2 minutes.
The result will printout from the printer automatically.
Input next sample ID
number.

Check the data.

Display the histograms

Display the normal

range bar graph.

Check the flag message.

Printout. Transfer the result.

Reagent Management

Empty Waste container

1 Empty the waste container.

2 From the [Home] screen, touch [Manage Reagents] key.

3 Check the box of “WASTE”, and touch [Replace].

Press [Yes]

Clean Protein

１ From the Home screen, touch [Maintenance]
