(1) Construct the strength interaction curve for this column. Calculate at least five points,
including those correspondingto pure bending, pure axial load, and balancedfailure.

(Z) Show on the samedrawing the designstrengthcurve obtainedby applyingthe ACI <pfactors.

(3) Design the lateral reinforcement(ties) for the column. Include the designof the cross-tiesif
required.
