McDonald-Type Fish Hatching Jar

(Part No. J30)

Over the years, the McDonald-type hatching jar has become the
standard of the industry. It is a clear, high-impact, plastic egg hatching
system. Simply direct about one gram of water (depending on the
weight of the eggs) into the center. The eggs will be uniformly rotated.
The fish hatching jar comes complete with a screen which prevents the
loss of eggs. When the fish hatch, remove the screen to let the fish
swim out. Use it for trout, salmon, hybrid striped bass, catfish, tilapia
and many others. Height is 18", diameter is 6.25", volume is 232 oz
for approximately 100,00 trout eggs.

Optional Equipment: Hatching Jar Hanger

The hatching jar hanger (Part No. JH) is designed to eliminate the
need for a separate stand. It will accommodate up to a 1.5" hanging lip.
If the unit is used on a lip that is less than 1.5", the unit should be
supported on the inside of the lip using a block of wood or plastic.
Failure to do so could break the hanger. Level the unit by placing a
support block between the tank and the jar bottom.
