What is Mindset?
- established set of attitude or beliefs held by
someone.

According to Dweck (2005), there are 2 kinds of people (fixed mentality


& growth mentality) that distinguish them according to their attitudes
towards failure.

The belief on abilities, The belief that any given
intelligence, and talents ability can be learned
as fixed traits. through hard work and

Scientific research results:
■ Pietchnig Pink et.al., (2015) found out that there is a positive

correlates between intelligence and overall brain volume.

■ Narr, Woods, et.al. (2007) found out that there is a positive correlates

between intelligence and brain gray matter volume.

■ Haier,Siegel et.al., (1988) found out that there is a positive correlates

between intelligence and cortical thickness and neural efficiency.


Scientific research results:
■ Dweck (2010) confirmed that growth mindset have a positive impact

on student performance.

■ Blackwell, Trzesniewski & Dweck (2007) found out that growth

mindset scored better in math subject over time.

■ Kemper & Ela (2019) found out that teacher’s previous beliefs about

learning and learners have influenced how they engage in mindsets

equated to academic success.

Intuition is feeling before thinking and is a product of


the evolutionary history of decision-making.

the attitude towards risk.
● It is a factual probability where business
risks are estimabale and reducible.

creativity since creative work requires a higher
level of perseverance.
● Dweck (2007) found out that one influencing
factor in creative achievement is the
perseverance and resilience produced by a
growth mindset.
