NOTES:
1. A computer program to calculate Waukesha Knock Index (WKI) and Saturated Lower Heating Value (SLHV) of the fuel gas is
available from Waukesha Application Engineering.
2. Ignition timing [controlled by the Engine System Manager (ESM)] is variable depending on load and speed.
3. A calculated WKI value must be entered into the ESM using the Electronic Service Program (ESP) for proper ignition timing
determination by the ESM.
4. Performance indicated above applies for 700 to 1200 engine rpm.
5. Allowable power with 85°F (29.5°C) intercooler water temperature is 4.7% above the power values shown.
6. Site condition derates apply as follows (Ref. S-8154 latest version):
Ambient Air Temp. 1% per 10°F (5.5°C) above 100°F (38°C)
Altitude 2% per 1000 ft (305 m) above 6000 ft (1825 m)
Combustion Air Inlet Temp. (LFPS only) 4.0% per 10°F (5.5°C) above 100°F (38°C)
Altitude (LFPS only) 2% per 1000 ft (305 m) above 3000 ft (914 m)
Jacket Water Outlet Temp. 180°F (82°C) Maximum
7. Ratings apply for fuels above 700 Btu/scf (27.56 MJ/nm3) SLHV.
8. For fuels outside the ranges covered here contact Waukesha Application Engineering.
9. For intermittent duty ratings contact Waukesha Application Engineering.
