GUIDELINES

1. ABSENCES - An NSTP (CWTS/LTS) student is expected to attend all class days and accomplish all requirementsneeded to pass the course.
Special activities or projects cannot replace a missed lecture time. However, make-upclasses/projects/activities for EXCUSED absences
is upon the discretion of the NSTP Adviser. Maximumnumber of absences during the semester is three (3) absences.

✔ SANCTION: incurring more than the required number may cause an NSTP (CWTS/LTS) enrollee to earn a failinggrade of 5.0.

2. NSTP UNIFORM - No uniform, no entry into the classroom or from attending NSTP activities/projects. ✔ SANCTION:

Automatically, the NSTP students are marked absent.

3. HAIRCUT - For male NSTP (CWTS/LTS) students, wear the prescribed haircut; dreadlocks, bangs, mustache, and/or beard is strictly
discouraged.

✔ SANCTION: Failure to follow, no entry into the classroom.

4. ACCESSORIES - Both male and female NSTP (CWTS/LTS) students are strongly reminded fromengaging inbodypiercing and for the male
students from wearing earring rings. When attending an outside campus activities, all are discouraged from wearing jewelry and
bringing gadgets to avoid the incident of losing themor frominvitingthefts/robbers.

✔ WARNING: Any lost items/gadgets is the student’s sole responsibility.

5. PARENTS’ PERMIT - All outside-campus activities/projects will require a parent's permit. Claimthe copy of thepermit from your NSTP
Adviser and submit on time.

✔ SANCTION: No parent’s permit, the student is not allowed to join the activity.

6. NSTP (CWTS/LTS) STUDENTS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AND PROHIBITED DRUGS. Oncecaught and proven, the
incident is reported to the Office of Students’ Affairs (OSA).

✔ WARNING: The OSA Officer will conduct an investigation for appropriate action/sanction; then the samereport is forwarded to the
college/department where the NSTP (CWTS/LTS) student belongs.

7. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT - The students should assist in the orderliness and cleanliness of the classroomand should ensure that no
litter or garbage is left behind. The students should make sure that the lights andair conditioning units are switched off and that the
chairs are in their proper order.
