**All Clear Code Green Phrase 2021-2022 for Code Red Drills: “It’s a great day at New River.” Dates are subject
to change.

A few cycles will be offered near the end of each practice. Return to/debrief after each

drill: A meeting with instructors and school management to identify flaws and strengths in the

equitable finished work. The group will also deliberate on how to proceed if change is required.

Every year, all fire drills must follow the calendar established by the district

administration. Staff and students will use the emergency exit door allocated to each classroom

teacher by district management. The soft lockdown is announced by the internal announcing

system, and all staff and children are instructed to remain silent while closing and locking all

windows and doors. The measures for a hard lockdown remain the same, with the exception that

all students and staff remain silent and hide away from doors and windows, out of sight of any

intruder.

During the hurricane season, we have tornado watches so we have to do tornado drills.

Students are aware that they should move away from the window in a crouched position, under

the tables, covering their heads.

Collaboration was used to create the safety strategy. The coordinated effort that was led

to establish and execute the wellness plan and penetrates, with the purpose of creating a safe

learning environment, upholds the school's mission and vision. Safety drill practice is required

by law. When a student has an early delivery, a post-op interview is arranged to minimize

disturbance to their studies. Students and staff are morally and legally vulnerable to threats and

potential harm if safety drills are not conducted. During the school year, the district is mandated
4

by law to conduct a specified number of drills (Desravines et al., 2016). This is a safety feature

featured in all 41 schools in the district.
