AFFIDAVIT OF EXPLANATION

I, MELVIN G. NEMENZO, of legal age, Filipino, married, and a resident of

Poblacion, Mawab, Davao de Oro after having been duly sworn to in accordance with the
law, depose and state that:

1. I am the same person who executed this affidavit;

2. I am a member of Philippine National Police (PNP) holding a position as Intel

Operatives/Warrant, assigned at Mawab, Davao de Oro;

3. Last August 14, 202 3, I was supposedly to attend the PNP Master Training
Action Plan CY 2023 to be held at Camp Sgt. Quintin M Merecido, Buhangin,
Davao City;

4. It was my utmost desire to participate in this event of great prestige and I had
never thought of missing it. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances,
it was not possible for me to attend the seminar; and

5. I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing statements, to

apprise proper authorities of such facts, and for whatever legal purpose this may
serve.
