“RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY NUTRITION ACTION PLAN OF

BARANGAY LUSONG, SAN AGUSTIN, ROMBLON”

Whereas, section no. 1 of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code
1991, under the General Welfare clauses states that Local Government Unit shall promote health
and safety, enhance the right of the people to balance Ecology, encourage and support the
development of appropriate and self-reliant scientific and technology capabilities and preserve
the comfort and convenience of its inhabitants;

Whereas, the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan specific all the activities and programs
related to health and nutrition to be undertaken by the Local Government Unit.

Whereas, said the plan is the product of tedious consultation, assessment feed backing
and data gathering conducted by the Barangay Nutrition Committee before and during the
planning stage.

Whereas, this august body, upon meticulous scrutiny on the details of Barangay
Nutrition Action Plan, concluded that all the activities are comprehensive, attainable and
relevant in promoting the health and general welfare of the populace,

NOW THEREFORE, on unanimous accord of all members of the Sangguniang

Barangay present it was;
 RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED; to adopt the Barangay Nutrition
Action Plan of the Barangay Lusong, San Agustin, Romblon for the year 2023.

Resolved FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Sangguniang Bayan
and the Municipal Nutrition Office, DILG for their information and ready reference.

Adopt this 23rd day of March, year 2023 at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Lusong, San
Agustin, Romblon.
