After checking that the machine is in the push mode, gently pump unfil the assembly is wedged in place but the pressure on the pump gauge should be on zero reading Check the ram will push against the post centrally and is stil evel horizontally, Datum peg or tripod shall be install in a direct line from the ram and post. j. Measure the height of the ram in accordance with the 1.5m setback rules (Diagram2], then use height to pressure loading chart to determine what pressure to pump to achieve the desired bending moment. k, Record the measurement from the datum peg or tripod to the post at a height of 590mm, |. Gently Apply load using the pump/machine until the gauge reads IkN and then increase load up to 9kN m. The post foundation is acceptable if bending Moment of 9000Nm /9kNm is achieved without defection exceeding 150mm from original position of post. 1. QUALITY CONTROL AND REQUIREMENTS a, Ensure that latest approved shop drawings and latest documents ore being utilzed. b. HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL a. All staff involved with the project shall be inducted on the safety, health and environmental issues associated with the work. b. Good housekeeping must be maintained at the site including around the working area c. Workers must require to have completed PPE, including hard hat and those exposed in vehicular traffic shall provide ond wear warning vest marked with or made of reflectorized or high visibility material at all times as an additional safeguard. d. Starling instructions will be given by the HSE representative before the start of each activity to explain the methodology of works and to communicate sate working procedures to the operatives. These taks ore structured in a way to highlight the major rks involved in the activity and the various control measures required in order to minimize the risk. It is delivered in a manner such as the key points will be remembered by the operative receiving it. A.
