Instructions: Read each scenario and identify whether it represents a strategic plan, a tactical

3. A university plans to increase student enrollment by improving its marketing
strategies.
4. A construction company plans to streamline its building processes to reduce costs and
improve efficiency.
5. A healthcare organization plans to increase patient satisfaction by implementing a
new feedback system.

Part II. Contingency Planning


Instructions: Read the scenario below and create a contingency plan to address the potential
issues.

Scenario: You are the manager of a small event planning business that specializes in
weddings. You have just received a call from one of your most important clients, who is
getting married in two weeks. The client has informed you that the venue where the wedding
is supposed to take place has unexpectedly closed due to some unforeseen circumstances.
The client is very upset and has demanded that you find a new venue within the next 24
hours.

1. What are the potential issues that may arise if the wedding venue is not found within
the next 24 hours?
2. Create a contingency plan to address these potential issues.
3. How will you communicate the contingency plan to the client?
