The diagram illustrates ‘trampling’, the significant issue that tourists
walk in the countryside for the environment.
Trampling is the problem when grass is flattened under the feet if
tourists walking in the area, which leads to numerous environmental problems. It is distinct to see that, the vegetation will be damaged firstly because of the high level of tourism. As a consequence, plants become weaker, do not reproduce and grow up as normal which results in the reduction of vegetation. Moreover, soil compacted becomes hard underfoot which decreases the ventilation and water quality in the soil. Trampling is also a factor creating the rate of erosion and water runs off the land. Therefore, the negative effects of ‘trampling’ because of tourists walking in the countryside are huge and intimidating to the environment.
In conclusion, trampling is one of the main factors that causes the
erosion and decreases quality of soil and vegetation especially in countryside, where possesses a lot of grass area.
