WATER AND SEWER PIPE DISTANCES FROM ERF BOUNDARIES FOR THE

The following distances from erf boundaries must be used for Water and Sewer lines:

 For road reserves 10 meter and less:

Water only – 1.3m from the erf boundary
Sewer only – 1.5m from the erf boundary
Water and Sewer - 1.2m from the erf boundary for Sewer and 1.8m from the erf
boundary for Water lines

 For road reserves wider than 10 meter up to 15 meter:

Water only – 1.6m from the erf boundary
Sewer only – 1.5m from the erf boundary
Water and Sewer - 1.5m from the erf boundary for Sewer and 2.3m from the erf
boundary for Water lines

 For road reserves wider than 15 meter:

Water – 2.5m from the erf boundary
Sewer – 1.5m from the erf boundary

 Sewer within erven – 1.5m from the erf boundary
