ISSUE
Terex has become aware that, for the cranes listed above, pressure increase in the hydraulic
system of the Main Boom Extension (MBE) can happen when the MBE is in the stowed position
and the hydraulic hose connectors are not plugged as per the operator’s manual instruction.
Pressure increase in the MBE hydraulic system may damage the MBE luffing cylinder which
can lead to oil leakage and slow lowering of the MBE during operation.

ACTION(S)
Terex will install a pressure relive valve on the MBE luffing cylinders.
As soon as possible, no later than 14 days from receipt of this Notice, please perform the following
action:
- Contact your local Terex office to arrange a service appointment for the pressure relive
valve installation.
