The effects of technology on society have been both positive and negative. While technology has
made it easier to connect with others, access information, and improve medical care, it has also
led to job loss, cyberbullying, and technology addiction.
The technological advances of today are affecting the future of work in three key ways: by
scaling and speeding up human capabilities, by substituting labor with machines, and by
enabling new ways to access and supply labor.
In this age of rapidly developing science and technology, the world has been
transformed into a global village. People from all over the world, belonging to
many varied cultures and nations, can now interact and mingle with each other and
exchange values and ideas. This intermingling of people on an international level is
known as globalization.
Globalisation has led to the spread of businesses and media worldwide, creating a
global economy where even the smallest nation is included. Developing and
underdeveloped countries have benefited greatly from this. However, globalisation
has also led to the rise of major worldwide pandemics, such as COVID-19, which
shook the entire world in 2020.

networking.” In today’s world, social media has come to become so
much more than that.
Reducing, reusing and recycling waste helps save landfill space by keeping useful
materials out. The amount of energy and natural resources needed to produce or
collect the raw materials and manufacture the product are reduced.
