PRESENT CONTINUOUS

We use the present continuous:

 To talk about actions and situations in progress now:

The bus is coming.
  To talk about actions and situations in progress around now, but not exactly at
the momento we speak:
What are you doing these days?
I´m learning Spanish.

PRESENT SIMPLE VS PRESENT CONTINUOUS

PRESENT SIMPLE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS

 We use the present continuous to talk about actions happening now or to
talk about the immediate future.
He´s starting out of the window now.
I´m having lunch with Tim today.
 We use the present simple to talk about routines or repeated actions.
She eats fruits every morning.
Note : there are some verbs ( stative verbs ) which we don´t normally use in the
present continuous from because they describe states which are true, not actions
in progress. These include :believe, belong, hate, imagine, know, like, love and
want.

1- Write sentences and questions using the present simple or present

continuous form:
Tom / usually/ have /cereal for breakfast.
EXAMPLE: Tom usually has cereal for breakfast.
