Global warming is the long-term heating of Earth’s climate system observed since the pre-

industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning,

which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth’s atmosphere. The term is

frequently used interchangeably with the term climate change, though the latter refers to both

human- and naturally-produced warming and the effects it has on our planet. It is mostly

measured as the average increase in Earth’s global surface temperature.

Summary 

 Both articles cover one important issue that society is suffering from and this has all to do with

the effects and the concept of global warming which is to this day one of the main factors that we

need to take time for as an international entity to be able to remove or least as slow down the

effects of this worldwide issue because at the end of the day most scientist and any individual

you ask Will they you that it isn’t something to joke about due to it being one of the causes

believing in human extinction which is something to take into account due to how important this

society has been and while all the effects have been caused by the industrialized world we lived

in now in which the effects of things like consumerism, producing and planting and many more

useful things that humanity has deemed a need are causing all of this effects. But what is global

warming? Well first of all we need to explain what greenhouse gases are: Carbon dioxide,

Methane, Nitrous Oxide, HFC, PFC, and more. Al All these are part f what we call the ozone

layer which is a barrier that helps absorb/reflect the rays of light coming from the sun because

some of them are too strong or deadly for what we need here on earth and that is why must

protect this layer at all costs. At the end of the day, it creates a bunch of problems for us humans

and it is up to us (Project Kioto and other organizations against climate change) to be able to

avoid this by reducing things like emissions. industrialized farming, consumerism, cattle,

burning fuels, and way more things you could ever imagine. While a lot of countries such as

Spain have been positive in changing these damaging habits and tried to make different and

creative ways for the entirety of the territory to reduce these changes it is not enough especially

when there are a lot of people, especially in the Us who do not believe in the effects or even in

Global Warming at all. At the end of the day, it is hard to predict if there are effective methods to

reverse the changes or if it is too late for us as a society.

While a lot of countries and people are involved with things like politics and plans for their

nation at hand it is important to consider how crucial it is for humanity to put aside competition

and work together when things get complicated. Because at the end of the day, if there is a world

to live in then what competition is there going to be? And this is why when we look into things

like climate change and global warming there often put to the side as competition for big

companies and for many just a way to slow their money down because at the end of the day, it

causes ignorance and there is a formidable amount of prove to what mankind has done just for

the sake of improving and revolving their economy into new frontiers and while saying this out

loud is, in fact, a lost cause because I am at the end of the day contributing to the competences I

think it is only with the forms of media we can explore and provide that we can communicate

change and perspective for the ones that need it.

Climate change will never be a myth no matter how much the media tries to deny it, due to this

we have things such as changes in the wildlife of all things because sometimes humanity forgets

that is not only our world but one that we share with a lot of other species that are unique and

deserve to live just like us. The reasons climate change is a reality are due to the many effects

aside from the planet getting hotter. Some of these effects are drought, storms, heat waves, rising

sea levels, and melting glaciers just to name a few of them all of these not only affect wildlife but

also affect us because due to these things, we find ourselves suffering from things like flooding

and wildfires that are two things that you can see affecting countries such as the US, Australia,

and Asian countries in the recent years which have not only affected the lives of many because

of the destruction of homes and sometimes complete cities that have to be evacuated due to the

destruction left behind. There are many reasons these things keep happening more frequently

even though they shouldn’t and all of it is due to how each year we consumed and ask and need

more things because every year we are more people and that is a reality that we need to accept

that the number of materials that we need nowadays is not only absurd but very dehumanizing

due to how the industry needs to keep up and sometimes increase that rate and it is only us that

can create a change in all of the things that cause climate change.

But as a conclusion, I would like to propose a series of questions. If climate change was a myth,

then why are so many countries and nations trying to prevent global warming and its effects of

it? Why are all the nations telling their citizens to use fewer motor vehicles? Why are there

millions of car companies trying to comply with the making and purchasing of electric cars?

Why would all these efforts be for if they weren’t to stop global warming from getting worse? I

think it is necessary not to ask whether things are real or not because many other sites on the

internet will prove the validity of the changes and the concepts that global warming has upon the

place; we call home. I would rather be precise on the fact that we need to find a solution that will

impulse bigger nations to make projects and advance into the making of various initiatives that

will help reverse the effects of global warming.
