Some confusing sentences:

1) When you have taken your degree will you be able to put letters after your name?
2) COULD + HARDLY / BARELY / SCARELY + ONLY
3) The diseases: were not able to resist / were unable to resist

4) We couldn’t have been more relieved when we got the news that you were OK

MAY
1) There’s no questions starting with “may” about speculations. Then we use “might” instead of “may”.

SHOULD
1) You can’t use should when bad things happen. Only with positive expectations:
- If you study hard, you should pass the exam
- If you don’t study hard you should fail the exam (will fail)
